Moments of invisibility are unsettling,

but they feel like home.

Like a juxtaposition.

A dissonance.

Sand paper refining a piece of glass.

It hurts, but it’s addicting.

Like a tattoo on bare skin.

To feel invisible is to simultaneously be otherworldly and be fully human.

I’m terrified of the moment, but I anticipate it’s arrival.

May I never let go of value of invisibility.
